Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Strong Relationships with children at the service, fostering a positive and inclusive environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Program Development - Create and implement high-quality educational programs that reflect the Early Years Learning Framework guidelines, ensuring a well-rounded and engaging experience for children.
  • Environment and Safety - Maintain a safe and healthy environment for staff and children, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Service Philosophy - Implement the service's philosophy in all aspects of your work, ensuring alignment with the National Quality Standards (NQS).
  • Communication - Liaise with families regarding daily activities, progress, and any concerns, maintaining open and transparent communication.
  • Observation and Record-Keeping - Maintain accurate and detailed records of individual children's progress, using this information to inform program development and improve outcomes.
Requirements
  • A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care qualification.
  • A current Working with Children Check.
  • A First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one.
  • An excellent understanding and working knowledge of the National Quality Framework, including the National Regulations, National Quality Standards (NQS), and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environment.
  • A strong understanding of the importance of family communications.
  • A passion for implementing Montessori early learning programs.
  • A commitment to the holistic development of children.
