We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Room Leader to join our close-knit and supportive team in Shellharbour, NSW.

About the Role

As a Room Leader, you will be responsible for planning, supervising, and implementing the program for the room in accordance with our policies. You will also be responsible for understanding the regulatory requirements listed in the National Regulations and National Quality Standards, with a focus on providing an excellent level of education and care to the children at the centre-based service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, supervise, and implement the program for the room in accordance with our policies.
  • Understand the regulatory requirements listed in the National Regulations and National Quality Standards.
  • Lead and mentor the educators in the room.
  • Build fantastic rapport and incorporate a strong home-school partnership with the parents.
Requirements
  • A completed Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA equivalent).
  • Current/Valid Working With Children's Check (WWCC) and relevant First Aid Certificates.
  • Previous working experience in Early Childhood Education.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • The desire to make a positive contribution to a professional, collaborative, and focused team.
  • A love for children and a desire to make childcare a long-term career.
  • Passion, enthusiasm, and a strong commitment to high-quality care.
