We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to help deliver Utility Scale Energy projects across Victoria and the APAC region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and compliant delivery of projects, including engineering, design, construction, and commissioning. They will also oversee the management of EPC sub-contractors, grid connection agreements, and internal/external stakeholders.

  • Project ownership and execution, managing scope and schedule, and ensuring all parties are aligned.
  • Overall management of EPC sub-contractors for all phases of construction, including design, construction, commissioning, and completion.
  • Understanding and managing grid connection agreements during construction and testing phases.
  • Interface with and manage internal and external stakeholders from contracting stage through execution and handover to Service.
  • Identify gaps in scope and responsibility to ensure project success, requiring a comprehensive understanding of engineering, construction, permitting concepts, and rules of conduct.
  • Support the finance team and provide information to ensure Tesla's overall compliance with internal agreements and targets.
  • Ensure all works of Tesla employees and contractors are carried out in a safe, high-quality, efficient manner, promoting continuous improvement.

We offer an estimated salary of $140,000 - $160,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Engineering degree (Civil or Electrical Preferred), Tertiary qualifications, or relevant work experience.
  • 5+ years of end-to-end project management experience.
  • Experience delivering registered generators in the NEM is desirable.
  • Experience in delivering projects in Renewable energy, Power distribution, or Utilities.
  • PMP/PMC certification is preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, mostly local but occasionally international.
  • Knowledge of construction contracts, subcontracts, and the bid process.
  • Ability to manage field construction activities and resources.
  • Basic knowledge of Electrical infrastructure.
  • Ability to manage several projects and prioritize tasks.
  • Highly motivated self-starter.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
