Sr. Technical Support Engineer Role

About the Opportunity:
  • You will be responsible for owning, investigating and resolving complex customer technical issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams and leveraging troubleshooting tools and best practices.
  • You will lead or participate in building knowledge-sharing communities with peer delivery roles and contribute to the development of relevant content.
  • You will develop specialized technical and professional competencies to enable you to deliver effective solutions to customers through training and readiness programs.
  • You will identify potential product defects and escalate them appropriately to ensure timely resolution, contributing to the improvement of Microsoft products.
About You:
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), or a related field, combined with 3+ years of experience in technical support, technical consulting, or information technology, or equivalent experience.
  • CyberDefender Mindset: A proactive, collaborative, and customer-centric approach adopted by technical support teams to anticipate, prevent, and mitigate cybersecurity threats.
  • Preferred qualifications include proficiency in Chinese, CISSP, Comptia Security +, ISC2 CC, BTL1/2, GSIF/GCIC/GCED/GSEC, PSAA, Kepner-Tregoe or equivalent certification, Customer Service Foundations (LinkedIn Learning) or other relevant customer service training/experience.
