
Empathetic Disability Care Provider

We are seeking Support Workers to join our dedicated team, working across a 24 hour / 7 day rotating roster. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to individuals with physical and/or intellectual disabilities.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Providing personal care and daily living assistance
- Assisting with transportation and community activities
- Implementing and monitoring healthy lifestyle practices
- Administering medications as required
- Completing incident reports
Essential Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who possess:
- Strong communication and computer skills
- Manual handling experience
- Medication administering experience
- A confident and positive approach to care
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must hold:
- 100 points of ID
- An unrestricted Australian driver's license
- A current first aid certificate (completed within the last 3 years)
- A current CPR certificate (completed within the last 12 months)
- A national standard police clearance check (completed within the last 12 months)
- A current working with children's check (WWCC) - for paid, unsupervised roles
- A current NDIS worker screening check (NDISWSC)
- A completed Certificate III/IV in Disabilities (preferred but not essential)
- Minimum 12 months+ experience in supporting people living with cognitive, psychosocial disabilities (preferred but not essential)
