The role of a Disability Support Worker is to provide high-quality care and guidance to individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities, enabling them to build meaningful lives.
Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 months experience in the disability sector, hold Cert IV or equivalent industry experience, and possess NDIS Worker Clearance, Working With Children Check (WWC), personal care experience, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Support clients with daily living tasks, including personal care and household management.
- Assist clients with mobility and transportation needs.
- Encourage clients to engage in activities that promote social interaction and community participation.
- Minimum 6 months experience in the disability sector.
- Cert IV or equivalent industry experience.
- NDIS Worker Clearance.
- Working With Children Check (WWC).
- Personal care experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Permanent and casual roles available.
- Flexible work conditions.
- Ongoing professional training and development.
- Penalty rates for weekends and holiday shifts as per the industry award.
