Our Climate Transition Action Plan is underway, with ambitious targets of 5GW by 2030 and 12 GW by 2035. About the Role

You'll contribute to the development and execution of our renewable generation and battery storage growth strategy. This involves supporting Development Project Managers in taking our pipeline of projects through to the start of construction. Your expertise will be crucial in developing our portfolio of wind, battery, and pumped hydro projects in the National Electricity Market (NEM).

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute project implementation plans to deliver project outcomes within approved budgets and schedules
  • Assist in contract negotiations for construction and transmission connection
  • Identify, report, and manage key risks associated with projects
  • Co-ordinate internal and external resources to obtain permits and licences needed for construction and operation
  • Assist in community consultation activities, including preparing presentations for community consultative committee meetings
  • Ensure Health, Safety, and Environment systems and goals are introduced and adhered to

About You

We're looking for an individual with experience in renewable energy and/or battery storage project development. Your outstanding business acumen, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills will be essential in this role. A tertiary qualification in business and technical fields, such as finance, commerce, and engineering, is highly desirable.
