We are seeking passionate individuals to contribute to the lives of older adults in a supportive environment. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to engage with our residents and provide valuable support.

The role involves assisting various teams, including Lifestyle, Catering, Resident Services, and Palliative Care Support. You will also have the chance to support residents in recreational activities, shopping trips, lunchtime meals, concerts, special events, and more.

You will be working closely with like-minded professionals in a collaborative and empowering environment. If you possess compassion, friendliness, and positivity, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Lifestyle team in planning and implementing recreational activities for residents
  • Support residents in their daily lives, including shopping trips and meal times
  • Participate in craft sessions and bring joy to our residents' lives
  • Engage in bus trips and driving, enabling our residents to enjoy time out in the community
  • Share your musical talents by playing music for our residents
  • Participate in reminiscing groups, fostering connections and meaningful conversations
  • Get involved with games and activities, promoting social interaction and fun
  • Support our residents during church services, offering spiritual companionship
  • Assist during meal times, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere
