Personal Care Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate Personal Care Worker to join our aged care organisation on a full-time or part-time basis. As a key member of our 'house'team, you will provide high-quality personal care and support to residents in accordance with their individual care plans.

  • Provide personal care and support to residents in accordance with their care plans.
  • Assist with activities of daily living, including hygiene, dressing, grooming, mobility, and mealtime support.
  • Encourage resident participation in social and recreational activities.

Your commitment to person-centred care and your ability to work effectively with colleagues and residents from diverse cultural backgrounds are highly valued.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Provide personal care and support to residents in accordance with their individual care plans.
  2. Assist with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, mobility, and mealtime support.
  3. Encourage resident participation in social and recreational activities.
  4. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff demonstrating sensitivity to cultural differences and preferences.

About You
  • Previous experience working in an aged care or personal care setting (minimum 3-4 years required).
