Project Coordinator for Indigenous Collections at the National Film and Sound Archive
1 day ago
The National Film and Sound Archive of Australia is embarking on a transformative journey, leveraging increased Government investment to establish itself as Australia's most dynamic and valued cultural organisation. To support this vision, we are seeking a highly motivated Project Coordinator to join our Indigenous Connections team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional communicator with high-level research and administrative skills to contribute to the coordination of Indigenous Connections team activities. The successful candidate will work closely with the Manager, Indigenous Connections, providing support for collection acquisition, repatriation of collection content, and assisting in the curation and production of engagement activities.
With a focus on amplifying Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander voices and centre First Nations perspectives across the NFSA's collection-related activities, this role requires someone who can embrace change, manage multiple priorities, and excel in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in the audiovisual industry and/or cultural sector is essential, with a transferable skill set considered a significant advantage.
In return for your expertise, you can expect a competitive salary package, including a base salary of approximately AU$65,000 - AU$80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as professional development opportunities and a collaborative work environment.
If you are passionate about cultural preservation, diversity, and inclusion, and possess the skills and qualifications required for this role, we encourage you to apply.
