We are seeking an experienced Category Manager to join our team. As a Category Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth through ownership of reporting, shelf management, and execution tracking.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of category management and a reputation as a high achiever. They will be responsible for collaborating with internal teams to support delivery of customer joint business plans (JBPs) for relevant categories.
Key responsibilities include developing quarterly and total category reviews and performance reviews, maintaining and updating category dashboards, scorecards, and performance trackers using scan data and sales reports.
The successful candidate will also have a tertiary qualification in Business or equivalent, advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, and a successful track record in FMCG across category, RGM, and/or sales.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with internal teams to support delivery of customer joint business plans (JBPs) for relevant categories
- Develop quarterly and total category reviews and performance reviews
- Maintain and update category dashboards, scorecards, and performance trackers using scan data and sales reports
- Analyse sales trends, promotional effectiveness, and range performance to identify growth opportunities or risks
- Present regular performance updates to internal teams and escalate issues proactively
- Build data-driven range, space, and merchandising recommendations
