Your key duties will include:
- Developing effective audit strategies and assisting in the development of plans
- Supporting team members in completing tasks required for planning an audit engagement
- Working closely with engagement managers to identify potential problem areas or improvement opportunities
- Coordinating engagements without manager assistance, reporting directly to Partners when appropriate
- Identifying opportunities for improvement and communicating these to Managers
- Preparing and monitoring budgets for various engagements
- Mentoring junior colleagues and building internal relationships
- Liaising with clients to identify future opportunities
About You
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) qualification
- Able to think critically, challenge assumptions, and solve problems
- A self-starter with a proactive and detail-oriented approach
- Strong IT and computer skills, with a willingness to embrace new technology and adapt quickly
- Professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion
- Ability to effectively manage your workflow
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
- Minimum two years' experience in a similar role
