Your key duties will include:

  • Developing effective audit strategies and assisting in the development of plans
  • Supporting team members in completing tasks required for planning an audit engagement
  • Working closely with engagement managers to identify potential problem areas or improvement opportunities
  • Coordinating engagements without manager assistance, reporting directly to Partners when appropriate
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement and communicating these to Managers
  • Preparing and monitoring budgets for various engagements
  • Mentoring junior colleagues and building internal relationships
  • Liaising with clients to identify future opportunities

About You

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) qualification
  • Able to think critically, challenge assumptions, and solve problems
  • A self-starter with a proactive and detail-oriented approach
  • Strong IT and computer skills, with a willingness to embrace new technology and adapt quickly
  • Professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion
  • Ability to effectively manage your workflow
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
  • Minimum two years' experience in a similar role
