About The Opportunity
As a Health & Safety Specialist, you'll play a key role in supporting CleanCo's health and safety performance across multiple sites. Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager, you will provide support and advice to ensure all sites adopt health and safety policies, frameworks, and systems to improve performance. This role can be based in Cairns or Tully, is permanent, and offers the opportunity to collaborate with stakeholders across the organization, including Asset Operations, People & Culture, Enterprise Risk, and Compliance. Responsibilities include monitoring compliance, conducting investigations, coordinating audits, and driving continuous safety improvements.
About You
- You hold a tertiary qualification in Workplace Health & Safety or Occupational Health Sciences, with certifications in ICAM investigation and auditing highly desirable.
- You have experience developing, auditing, and implementing Health & Safety Management Systems, ideally within power generation or construction environments.
- You are confident navigating legislation and regulatory frameworks, thriving in high-risk, multi-site settings.
- You are collaborative, curious, and courageous—ready to build positive relationships, coach others, and contribute to strategic projects.
