We are currently seeking expressions of interest from Cultural Heritage Specialists to support a range of Roadworks Programs in the Cairns region.

The successful candidate will provide high level guidance on Cultural Heritage expertise to meet Government commitments. They will be responsible for delivering guidance on Cultural Heritage issues, providing planning, design and construction advice with Cultural Heritage considerations, and conducting field data collection and analysis.

Key qualifications include:

  • A Degree in Archaeological, Anthropology, Social Science or equivalent
  • At least two years' experience on green or brownfield infrastructure construction projects utilising Cultural Heritage management processes
  • Strong understanding of Australian Road Authorities project experience

Preferred skills include:

  • Membership of a related Professional body
  • Auditing and Environmental Science experience

Based in Cairns QLD, preference will be given to people already living in Cairns or willing to relocate there. We consider relocation support for candidates currently residing in Australia with Australian Road Infrastructure standards experience.
