Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to provide holistic OEM customer and technical support for valued mining customers.

This role involves being the first point of contact for our company, providing proactive awareness and total commitment to safety, and exercising a high standard of precaution and duty of care to yourself and others around you.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience with off-highway electric drive haul trucks and hydraulic excavators, enabling them to be successful in this position.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing technical advice on electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components for Hitachi's large off highway truck and hydraulic mining excavator range.
  • Assisting with the planning and execution of major maintenance events by liaising with relevant site representatives and working collaboratively with the Service and Parts departments.
  • Attending customer site meetings as required to resolve technical issues.

  • Technical Knowledge: Trusted to provide technical advice on electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components for Hitachi's large off highway truck and hydraulic mining excavator range.
  • Project Coordination: Assist with the planning and execution of major maintenance events by liaising with relevant site representatives and working collaboratively with the Service and Parts departments.
  • Trade Qualified: Minimum mechanical or electrical trade qualifications.
  • Communication Skills: Personable and professional communication skills, including self-organization and the ability to plan and prepare relevant documentation.
