Senior Education Manager - Queensland Pathways State College

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Education Manager to lead the growth and development of our two Ipswich Campuses, Bundamba and Goodna. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for implementing our strategic plan and aligning with the Department of Education's Equity and Excellence Strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance educational outcomes for our students through effective teaching and learning practices.
  • Cultivate positive relationships among students, teachers, other campuses, the community, and stakeholders.
  • Champion our shared vision of 'Every Student Succeeding' and ensure high-quality teaching and learning outcomes that meet the needs of all students.
  • Establish and maintain high standards for all student and staff performance.
  • Build partnerships with parents, government agencies, and non-government organisations to provide students with the necessary opportunities and support for success.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in effectively leading teams and implementing whole school strategic plans.
  • Comprehension of the Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) and Vocational Education systems.
  • Understanding of trauma-informed practices and adjustments for students with a disability.
