Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Children's Ministry Director to lead and oversee our kids' ministries. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing an effective ministry strategy for the discipleship of children aged 0-12.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive ministry strategy for children's discipleship, including planning and execution of Sunday Kids' Church and mid-week programs.
  • Oversee the development, training, and rostering of kids' ministry leaders, ensuring they are equipped to provide a safe and positive experience for children.
  • Collaborate with staff team to develop and implement leadership and discipleship pathways for children and youth.
  • Ensure all children's programs are child-safe compliant and meet the highest standards of quality and excellence.
  • Appoint and mentor volunteer team leaders for mid-week programs, including Playgroup, Mainly Music, and Fri Play Kids.
  • Recognize and celebrate key discipleship milestones for children, such as child dedications, pre-school blessings, and baptism.
  • Encourage the participation of children in major church events and projects.

Key Competencies:

  • Able to train and equip leaders for ministry.
  • Able to create, innovate, and implement ministry strategies.
  • Able to organize teams to accomplish goals.
