About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to become a vital part of our culinary team as a Chef de Partie or Demi Chef.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate extensive experience in a high-volume 5-star hotel kitchen environment.
  • Exhibit advanced culinary skills and food standards.
  • Collaborate with the Sous-Chef and Executive Chef in preparing exquisite Black Tie canapés.
  • Work effectively as part of a team with strong communication abilities.
  • Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced kitchen setting.
  • Maintain exceptional attention to detail in all culinary tasks.
  • Showcase a passion for high-quality ingredients and culinary excellence.
  • Utilize commercial-grade kitchen equipment proficiently.
  • Oversee the preparation of baked goods, pastries, and desserts according to established recipes.
  • Ensure seamless communication with Sous-Chefs and Chef de Parties, addressing special requests promptly.
  • Adhere to HACCP standards consistently.
  • Possess full Australian Working Rights.
  • Work a 38-hour weekly rotating roster with compensation aligned with the Restaurant Industry Award.
