We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at NewCold. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance on automated systems, including electrical and mechanical areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on automated systems, including electrical and mechanical areas.
- Conduct electrical and mechanical fault finding and troubleshooting on automated systems such as storage and retrieval cranes, shuttles, and buffer systems.
- Assist operations to ensure maximum system availability.
- Work towards increasing equipment reliability by continuously improving processes and support.
- Respond efficiently to breakdowns to minimize equipment downtime.
- Communicate extensively with key stakeholders, including Operations and Planning teams.
- Ensure uncompromising compliance with OHS, Environmental, and Quality standards.
- Educational background in electrical or mechanical trade.
- A-Grade electrical qualification.
- Over 3 years of industrial work experience.
- Comfortable working in a cold store environment (-23 degrees).
- Computer competency is vital; training on our WMS will be provided.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Physically fit and capable of working at heights.
- High motivation and enthusiasm.
- Ability to work a 4 on 4 off roster, rotating day and night shifts.
