About this Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced learning and development professional to join our team. The successful candidate will have expertise in program and training design, implementation, and evaluation.
As Assistant Director Learning and Development - Implementation, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of mental health and wellbeing training materials, policies, and processes. You will lead the implementation of programs by:
- Managing and leading a high-performing team, including providing clear and consistent communication, setting performance standards, managing performance, delegating responsibility, and guiding and developing people.
- Providing leadership and strategic direction to coordinate the implementation of evidence-based mental health and wellbeing programs and activities for the Defence workforce;
- Building and sustaining effective relationships and networks with internal and external stakeholders to manage and influence the design, development, implementation, and promotion of mental health and wellbeing programs and activities;
- Evaluating programs and initiatives to measure their success and identify opportunities for future improvement.

The Mental Health and Wellbeing Branch comprises military members and civilian employees working together to improve the mental health and wellbeing of the Defence community.
