This is a Senior Commercial Manager role that involves driving strategic impact on work winning initiatives, leading front-end commercial activities for new business and major renewals.

The ideal candidate will review contracts, identify risks, and shape commercial strategies that drive growth and protect business outcomes.

This hands-on role in a well-supported professional team works on exciting opportunities within the telecommunications market. The successful applicant will own negotiations and ensure commercial integrity across the Telecommunications portfolio, playing a vital role in guiding financial decisions and managing risk throughout the pre-contract phase.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading commercial strategy and risk management during the pre-contract phase
  • Reviewing and assessing tender documents, contracts, and pricing for new and renewal opportunities
  • Developing and implementing commercial strategies aligned with business procedures
  • Collaborating with bid teams, estimators, and business units to mitigate risks and validate pricing
  • Preparing key documentation including commercial departures, approvals, and submissions
  • Strengthening governance of commercial policies and procedures
  • Managing procurement activities and supplier evaluations
  • Overseeing contract handovers, negotiations, claims, and renewals

The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with client and project requirements through effective reporting and governance. This will involve liaising with Legal, Treasury, and Finance to meet corporate requirements.
