Cyber security risk analysis and documentation are key responsibilities of a Cyber Governance Risk and Compliance Analyst who works closely with project teams, engineers, solution architects, and systems integrators to ensure alignment with relevant security publications and frameworks.
Main Responsibilities:- Developing and delivering Security Documentation Packs to support the achievement of Authority to Operate (ATO) in consultation with Defence Cyber and Information Assurance Branch (DCIAB).
- Risk management includes identifying, assessing, and mitigating cyber security risks through methods such as threat modelling and vulnerability assessments.
- Assessing the security posture of third-party vendors and ensuring they meet the organisation's security requirements.
- Managing the ATO-C/ATO process in consultation with DCIAB to ensure compliance with all assurance and governance requirements identified.
- A strong understanding of information security concepts, practices, and standards is essential.
- Knowledge of risk management frameworks and methodologies is also required.
- Experience with threat modelling and vulnerability assessment tools is highly valued.
