Job Opportunity: Cyber Security GRC Specialist
This role is an integral part of our global security team, contributing to BlueScope's purpose and playing a critical part in strengthening our communities for the future.
We are seeking a professional with demonstrated experience in information security risk management, compliance, governance, and assurance. You will contribute to the establishment and management of a well-structured GRC capability that will uplift and maintain maturity to proactively safeguard the organisation from cyber-related threats.
About the RoleYou will support cyber security governance, risk, compliance, and assurance capabilities across the global footprint. This role will contribute to roadmap and strategy development and product selection. You will also ensure security controls are implemented in alignment with policies and standards.
The ideal candidate will have experience developing key processes and setting up and managing supporting GRC tools and third-party vendor management.

Your Key Responsibilities- Develop, maintain, and review security governance documentation
- Provide guidance on information security policies and standards
- Identify and manage security risks and liaise with stakeholders
- Contribute to roadmap and strategy development
- Manage regular governance, risk, and compliance reporting
We are looking for a highly collaborative and influential communicator who can build trust and meaningful relationships across the organisation. The ideal candidate will have a forward-thinking approach, with the ability to develop, manage, and continually improve GRC processes and capabilities.
Candidates should have experience in common frameworks such as NIST and ISO, along with the ability to collate and report on key metrics.
LocationThis role is based in Wollongong, Sydney, or Melbourne.
