Project Geologist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Geologist to join our team. As an integral part of our operations, you will play a pivotal role in upholding our core values and contributing to our collective success.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned geologist to take on new challenges and contribute to the growth and development of our organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing training and mentorship to junior geologists, coordinating drilling programs, and overseeing the analysis and interpretation of geological data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance and support to graduate geologists, mine geologists, and geology technicians.
  • Coordinate and oversee the design, scheduling, and execution of drilling programs to ensure timely and accurate data provision.
  • Supervise drill contractors to ensure adherence to environmental, safety, and security protocols.
  • Oversee the analysis, interpretation, and modeling of geological data to inform mine planning and decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Minimum three years' experience in geology with a mining company, preferably in a gold mining operation.
  • Proficiency in mining and geology software packages such as Datamine, Leapfrog, and Acquire.
  • Experience in geological modeling and wireframing.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
  • Tertiary qualification in geology (degree level).
  • Current unencumbered Western Australian
