Mine Operations Specialist

Mining engineers play a critical role in underground production. In this position, you will be responsible for coordinating drilling and blasting activities to achieve schedule targets.
Main Responsibilities:- Coordinate drilling and stoping activities to meet production targets.
- Collaborate with contracting partners to ensure compliance with the mining plan.
- Design and implement stope drill plans, charge plans, and reconciliations.
- Ensure production excellence by participating in quality assurance/quality control activities for blasting.
- Design and implement slot raising designs, remote plans, and void management plans.
- Lead field operations and provide mentorship to junior staff.
- Contribute to business improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain accurate technical plans to ensure health and safety of underground workers.
- Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field.
- Previous experience in underground production activities.
- Effective time management and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Valid working rights in Australia and a Western Australian 'C' class driver's license.
- Ability to obtain a new National Police Clearance.
