Heavy Equipment Operator Opportunity

Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding career opportunity in the mining industry? We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at an Open Cut Gold mine.

This is a great chance to work with a variety of heavy machinery, including Dozers, Dump Trucks, Loaders, Graders, and Excavators. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our equipment.

About the Role
  • FIFO from Perth or Kalgoorlie
  • Temporary to permanent positions after 4 months

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate two or more of the following heavy mining equipment: Dozers, Dump Trucks, Loaders, Graders, and Excavators
  • Maintain equipment in good working condition, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve operational goals and objectives
Requirements

We are looking for candidates with previous experience operating heavy mining equipment. Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Previous experience operating two or more of the following heavy mining equipment: Dozers, Dump Trucks, Loaders, Graders, and Excavators
  • Able to obtain a National Police Clearance within 12 months
  • Current valid Australian Driver's Licence
  • Pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen required
  • Confirmation of right to work in Australia
