Mine Scheduling Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mine Scheduling Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a pivotal role in upholding our company values and contributing to our collective success.

  • Schedule, sequence, and execute daily and/or weekly plans to ensure optimal production levels.
  • Identify risks and opportunities in daily and/or weekly planning to minimize delays and maximize efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Production, Geology, Geotech, and Maintenance departments to ensure adherence to monthly plans and achieve strategic objectives.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Power BI to effectively analyze and present data.
  • Experience with mine planning and design software such as Deswik, Fleet control to optimize scheduling processes.
  • Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or a related discipline to provide a solid foundation for your work.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in the mining industry to bring relevant knowledge and expertise.
  • Significant experience in short- to medium-term planning processes to drive business growth.
  • Current Western Australian 'C' Class Drivers Licence (Manual) to ensure safe and efficient travel.
