We are seeking a highly skilled Mine Surveyor to join our Underground Mining team at our Kalgoorlie Operations.
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Setting out and marking up production drill plans ahead of the drill schedule in line with established protocols.
- Carrying out monthly reconciliation processes for development and stope surveying.
- Collaborating with the Senior Mining Engineer and Mine Foreman to ensure survey priorities align with operational objectives.
- Performing regular cavity monitoring scans on open stopes and historical areas that require regular scanning.
- Diamond drilling set outs and collar pickups according to geological requirements for grade control and reserve definition drilling programs.
- Providing training and mentorship to Surveying Graduates and vacation students in correct methods and standards for Underground Surveying.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Experience in underground mining operations.
- Able to obtain Mine Surveyors' Certificate Grade One (1) qualification.
- Proficiency with Surpac and Deswik Software applications.
- Experience with Leica Instruments equipment.
- Must reside in the Goldfields region or be willing to relocate for this residential operation.
- Current Unencumbered Western Australian 'C' Class Drivers Licence.
