We are seeking an experienced Technical Services Officer to join our team at Inchcape Plc. As a key member of our Fleet Conversion Business network, you will be responsible for setting and delivering technical standards that promote excellence.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify potential technical issues within the dealer network and implement a strategy to address them.
- Provide technical support to vehicle processing centres and assist with the training of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for new vehicles.
- Offer qualified mechanical and electrical advice to internal and external customers on vehicle specs.
- Create layout drawings using CAD software to demonstrate concepts or vehicle layouts for customers.
- Estimate labour times and costs for vehicle conversions.
- You have previous experience in Fleet Conversions in the automotive industry.
- You hold relevant qualifications or experience in motor vehicle engineering.
- You are proficient in CAD software and have experience in Autodesk Inventor and/or Auto Cad Drawing.
- You have strong presentation skills and can manage multiple stakeholders to achieve the best result for the business.
- You possess highly developed analytical and negotiation skills in commercial contracts.
