About the Role

Airservices Australia is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Officer to join our team in Melbourne. The successful candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and support of complex technical systems, with a focus on ensuring the operational safety and integrity of the National Airways System.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and support activities on airways facilities and equipment
  • Ensure the operational safety and integrity of the National Airways System
  • Work closely with the team to identify opportunities for continuous improvement of service delivery and work practices
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the equipment, policies, procedures, and instructions relevant to the position

Requirements

  • Diploma of Technology in one or more of the following: Radio engineering, Communications engineering, Electrical engineering, Electronic engineering, Computer science, or Information technology
  • Strong technical skills and experience in maintenance and support of complex technical systems
  • Ability to work with limited technical guidance and perform tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail
