Technical Services Officer

We are seeking an experienced Technical Services Officer to join our team at Inchcape, a leading global automotive company. As a key member of our Fleet Conversion Business network, you will be responsible for setting and delivering technical standards that promote excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and address potential technical issues within the dealer network, working closely with the Technical Service Officer team to implement strategies and plans.
- Provide technical support to vehicle processing centres, assisting with the training of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for new vehicles.
- Offer qualified mechanical and electrical advice to internal and external customers on vehicle specifications.
- Create layout drawings using CAD software to demonstrate concepts or vehicle layouts for customers.
- Generate quotes and bills for customers, including labour estimation times.
- Previous experience in Fleet Conversions environment in the automotive industry.
- Relevant qualifications or experience in motor vehicle engineering.
- Experience in CAD software and programs, including Autodesk Inventor and/or AutoCad Drawing.
- Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and achieve business results.
- Highly developed negotiation skills in commercial contracts, with the ability to initiate, manage, and maintain internal and external relationships.
