About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager/Project Engineer to join our team at ACRWORLD. This is a unique opportunity to work on ground improvement construction services for commercial, mining, and large infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Expertise: Apply your knowledge of slope stability and drilling to ensure engineering solutions meet industry standards and project specifications.
  • Project Execution: Support the Project Manager in all phases of the project, including planning, design, and implementation, ensuring milestones are achieved on time and within budget. Provide technical advice and best practice methods.
  • Programming: Utilise programming skills to automate processes, optimise workflows, and enhance project efficiency.
  • Change Management: Monitor progress and implement change controls as needed to adapt to evolving project requirements.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all activities adhere to safety regulations and actively promote a safety-first culture.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with clients, project teams, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure effective communication and successful outcomes. Mentor Site Engineers as appropriate.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues to keep projects on track.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation, including technical reports, change orders, and progress updates.
  • Project Management: Oversee project activities, liaise with clients and subcontractors, manage plant, labour, and materials, and provide innovative solutions.

  • Water Control: Oversee water management strategies to address ground and site-specific challenges, ensuring stability and compliance.
  • Project Oversight: Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, while managing risks and maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in civil construction, with Geotechnical experience being an advantage.
  • Eligibility to work in Australia and a valid driver's licence.
  • Experience in investigation and construction, with knowledge in Geotechnical hazard/slope stability assessment and project management being beneficial.
  • Positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and strong personal organisation.
  • Proven track record in safety, environmental, and quality risk management.
  • Ability to work on-site and adapt to changing project conditions.
