About the Company

Our client is a reputable civil construction company with a strong portfolio of projects. They are known for their expertise in delivering complex infrastructure projects, including roads, rail, mining, subdivisions, and earthworks. With a presence in the Hunter Valley and Newcastle markets, they are seeking a Project Manager and two Project Engineers to join their team.

The Roles

They are looking for:

  1. Project Manager with experience in managing sections of works and projects valued over $20m.
  2. Two Project Engineers with strong earthworks experience and a background in managing roads or earthworks packages.
Key Responsibilities
  • Mentor and manage a team of engineers and supervisors.
  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Oversee budget and financial planning.
  • Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly project programs.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and manage project risks.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Lead a team of multidisciplinary staff on complex projects.
Requirements
  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in managing infrastructure or earthworks projects valued over $5m.
  • Proven track record of managing teams of engineers and supervisors.
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience with project budgeting.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Able to work closely with quality, safety, and environmental teams.
