Leadership Opportunity in Retirement Living

Join us as a seasoned professional to lead our team at a beautiful Noosa Waters retirement village. As the Retirement Living Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of residents while managing financial performance, maintenance, sales, and marketing efforts.

Job Description
  • Ensure the well-being and independence of residents by maintaining functional emergency systems and procedures.
  • Act as the village lead in interacting with residents, resident committees, and local communities to foster resident satisfaction.
  • Effectively manage complaints and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Promote and support social and activities programs to enhance resident engagement.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of the village through collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Manage village administration, including reporting, budgeting, P&L statements, and resident records.
  • Oversee ongoing and preventative maintenance, gardening coordination, and asset management.
  • Lead, motivate, and inspire a close-knit team to deliver exceptional customer service to residents.
  • Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years management experience, preferably in a Retirement Living environment.
  • Strong understanding of the Retirement Villages Act and Residential Home Care Packages is desirable.
  • Sales and marketing qualifications are an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills are essential.
  • Proven experience in conflict resolution and negotiation is required.
