About the Role

We are seeking a results-driven Retirement Manager to lead our team at our stunning Noosa Waters Village in Noosaville. The successful candidate will ensure the residents enjoy a safe and secure living environment, while also maintaining excellent village financial performance and asset maintenance.

  • Implement robust emergency systems and procedures to safeguard the Village
  • Collaborate closely with residents, committees, and the local community to foster resident satisfaction and engagement
  • Promote and support engaging social programs
  • Contribute strategically to village direction, including sales and marketing collaboration, asset management, and staying abreast of market trends and community needs
  • Oversee village administration and financials, including reporting, budgeting, P&L, and resident records
  • Maintain facilities and coordinate gardening schedules according to plan
  • Foster a high-performing team through coaching and mentoring, ensuring exceptional customer service is delivered to residents
  • E nsure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including SCCQ Home Care, RAC, and pastoral employees and contractors
Your Skills and Experience
  • Sales and marketing qualifications (desired)
  • Previous experience within a Retirement Living setting
  • Strong understanding of the Retirement Villages Act and Residential Home Care Packages (desired)
  • Minimum 5 years management experience
  • Able to interact with residents with respect, maturity, and empathy
  • Strong leadership, management, and operational team support abilities
  • Proven experience managing internal and external clients, contractors, and consultants as needed
  • Demonstrated financial planning and budgeting expertise
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Strong conflict resolution and negotiation abilities
