Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to lead our team as the Retirement Village Manager. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of the Retirement Villages Act and Residential Home Care Packages.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety of the village, acting as the village lead in resident interactions, handling complaints efficiently, promoting social programs, contributing to strategic direction, managing administration and financials, and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years management experience
  • Sales and marketing qualifications (desirable)
  • Previous experience within a Retirement Living environment
  • Strong understanding of the Retirement Villages Act and Residential Home Care Packages (desirable)

Candidates should possess excellent communication, organization, and time management skills, as well as conflict resolution and negotiation skills. They should also be able to interact with residents with respect, maturity, and empathy.
