Job Overview

TAFE NSW is the leading provider of vocational education and training in Australia. We are seeking a motivated and compliance-focused team member to join our Compliance & Assurance Team as a Regulatory Assurance Officer. This temporary opportunity, until 28 June 2024, will enable you to develop your skills in providing expert advice and support to stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies.

About the Role

  • This role is responsible for contributing to the development, implementation, and review of policies, procedures, and processes to ensure efficient and effective educational delivery.
  • You will work collaboratively with others on a range of priorities while driving compliance standards and reporting.
  • An eligibility list may be created for this position, which is valid for 18 months, and position(s) of the same classification that subsequently become vacant may be filled using this eligibility list.

About You

We are looking for a proactive and motivated individual who is passionate about problem-solving and has excellent decision-making skills. You should have the ability to address complex and sensitive tasks confidently and demonstrate good judgement when working independently or as part of a team.

Essential Requirements

  • A Diploma, or above, in a relevant discipline, or equivalent skills, knowledge, and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing advice on regulations and standards within the VET and Higher Education sector.
  • Ability to meet focus capabilities as stated in the Position Description.
