Turf Maintenance Professional
Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled Turf Maintenance Professional to join our team at Royal Randwick Racecourse.
The ideal candidate will have experience in general maintenance work, including labouring, cleaning, and groundskeeping.
- Operating plant equipment such as tractors, mowers, forklifts, and other machinery is a key responsibility.
- Routine maintenance of turf, synthetic, and artificial surfaces is also a critical part of this role.
The following skills and qualifications are essential for this position:
- Prior experience in turf management or a similar role is highly desirable.
- Operational and mechanical maintenance skills are required.
- Licences for machinery operation are preferred but not essential.
- Experience with plant equipment like Bobcat, Grader, Excavator would be beneficial.
- A knowledge of chemical handling and spraying is also required.
- Strong communication skills and an enjoyment of outdoor work are essential.
