This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality, culturally appropriate family support services to Aboriginal families in the local community.
The successful candidate will play a crucial part in providing intensive family support services, working collaboratively with other team members and community stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver intensive family support services to promote positive change among Aboriginal families.
- Assess family needs and develop tailored support plans to address identified issues.
- Provide practical assistance, mentoring, and counselling to families.
- Facilitate access to relevant services and community resources.
- Maintain comprehensive client records and contribute to program evaluation.
- Significant experience in Child Welfare, Youth & Family Services, with a strong understanding of challenges faced by Aboriginal families.
- Demonstrated expertise in providing holistic family support services.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
- Strong problem-solving and case management skills.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in social work, community services, or a related field.
- Cultural competence and deep understanding of Aboriginal culture and community.
