Retail Category Strategist

We are seeking a skilled Category Development Manager to lead the development of category strategies and drive customer-focused results.
Main Responsibilities:- Lead strategic range reviews in Big W, ensuring accurate and timely delivery
- Develop and implement a refreshed range tailoring program across Big W
- Collaborate with Category Managers to derive data-driven insights and inform customer-first decisions
- Identify and capitalize on category opportunities through structured analysis and problem-solving
- Mentor a team of Category Development analysts as they partner with the commercial team to achieve strategic goals
- Extensive experience in retail range capabilities
- At least 5 years of Retail/Category management experience
- Proven ability to deliver major transformation initiatives and lead teams effectively
