About This Role:

Civica is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team in Sydney. As the first point of contact for new opportunities and market leads, you will play a critical role in managing and qualifying incoming customer leads and owning sales opportunities under a nominated value.

Job Overview:

This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your sales skills and experience to drive business growth and success in the local government sector. You will work closely with our internal stakeholders to identify and pursue new sales opportunities, develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, and provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Responsibilities:

Some key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Managing and qualifying incoming customer leads to ensure they meet our sales criteria
  • Owning sales opportunities under a nominated value and working closely with our internal stakeholders to close deals
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients to increase customer loyalty and retention
  • Providing exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities through market research and analysis

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of the local government sector and its challenges
  • Proven sales experience and a track record of success in driving business growth and sales revenue
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and customers
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and pursue new sales opportunities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of AUD $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, plus superannuation, and a range of benefits including:
