We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join our People Operations team as a Human Resources Specialist.

  • This is a key member of the team, providing HR expertise and support to our Ground Operations teams.
  • Your responsibilities will include:
  1. Providing people operations excellence to both employees and the leadership team on employee relations matters
  2. Supporting the local People Operations team through key people initiatives, projects, and daily business activities
  3. Developing and maintaining HR knowledge and understanding of relevant principles, processes, tools, and best practice
  4. Providing specialist employee relations advice proactively and assisting in developing appropriate solutions for people issues
  5. Building strong lasting stakeholder relationships with key departments across the business by providing accurate, timely and appropriate advice
  6. Building a strong working relationship with the wider HR team to provide a unified HR Support structure across the Ground network
About This Role

We are seeking an individual who can provide high-level HR guidance and support to our operations teams. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in human resources and be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with other HR professionals to deliver a unified HR service
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in human resources
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience operating in a complex industrial environment
  • Experience working with unions on people matters
  • Ability to interpret industrial instruments
  • Ability to operate in a fast-moving, dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
