
Human Resources Specialist

We are seeking a talented Human Resources Specialist to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about shaping the future of hospitality.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and support to our hotel leaders on industrial relations, employee engagement, learning and development, and workforce planning.
You will partner with our hotel teams to drive leadership and organisational capability while supporting a high-performance culture.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting colleague journey management and addressing employee relations matters
- Facilitating learning and development activities aligned with our goals
- Ensuring compliance with HRIS systems and maintaining training records
- Assisting with talent acquisition and ensuring smooth onboarding experiences
- Monitoring salary allocations and ensuring compliance with employment laws
- Investigating workplace incidents and supporting Return to Work plans
- Driving a people-centric culture and upholding Core Values
- Supporting ESG Initiatives and local community engagement
- Actively participating in P&C projects and meetings
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience as an IR/ER or workplace relations specialist with exposure to the Hospitality Industry
- Good working knowledge of the HIGA (Hospitality Industry General Award)
- Able to work in a collaborative environment and deliver at pace
- Take accountability for decision making and approach
