Facility Operations Coordinator Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled individual to work as an Operations Coordinator at our aquatic facility.

The primary responsibility of the Operations Coordinator is to co-ordinate day to day operations of the facility with the highest regard to safety and high quality service delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, coaching and engaging a team of Duty Managers and Lifeguards, hazard prevention and ensuring operational compliance with policies and procedures and statutory requirements.

This role is responsible for plant operations, Lifeguard deployment, maintenance and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strong leadership experience with an ability to inspire others
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of work health and safety legislative guidelines, evacuation and emergency procedures
  • Demonstrated experience of plant room management and Pool operations
  • Knowledge of the aquatics industry
  • Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends
  • Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
  • National Police Check (or ability to obtain)
  • Legally entitled to work in Australia

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of facilities management principles and be able to apply their knowledge to ensure the smooth operation of the facility.

They will be responsible for managing a team of Duty Managers and Lifeguards, providing coaching and guidance to ensure they are operating effectively.

The Operations Coordinator will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and reporting any issues or incidents to senior management.
