Pool Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and people-focused Pool Supervisor to oversee the safe, efficient, and community-centred operation of our aquatic facilities.

This role goes beyond day-to-day management. It's about being present, building strong relationships with staff, contractors, and the community, and ensuring our aquatic services are not only compliant and efficient but welcoming, safe, and sustainable.

  • Manage the operation and maintenance of all aquatic facilities.
  • Supervise the delivery of high-quality, safe, and community-focused aquatic services.
  • Oversee contract management, including preparing documentation, tender processes, and contractor performance.
  • Ensure operational standards are consistently met across the Shire.
Key Qualifications
  • Diploma in Business Management, Sports and Recreation or relevant field.
  • Experience in aquatic centre operations and maintenance.
  • Proven experience in contract management, including preparation, tendering, and performance management.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and mediation skills.
  • Ability to control and implement tasks efficiently.
