Telecommunications Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Telecommunications Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a challenging role and contribute to the growth and success of our organization.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications infrastructure across the state;
  • Understanding scope of works on build drawings and site survey findings;
  • Installation of WCDMA/LTE/4G/5G/NBN technologies, radio base stations, and related equipment;
  • Configuration and capture status for Hand Over Packs (HOP's), commissioning and integrating RBS into the network;
  • Troubleshooting, replacing defective equipment, and monitoring site performance;
  • Installation and commissioning of microwave indoor and outdoor units, software installation, testing, and commissioning of sites.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Telecommunications or Engineering Science, Electronics, or Microprocessors;
  • Equivalent experience as a telecommunications technician if no qualification is held;
  • Experience in installation, commissioning, and testing of Nokia and/or Ericsson equipment;
  • Current Working at Heights / Tower Rescue Ticket; First Aid and CPR;
  • Construction White Card;
  • Full Manual Drivers Licence.
