Department: Infrastructure / Network Operations

Overview

Seeking an experienced Network & Security Architect to design, implement, and secure complex IP networks in the telecom sector. The role covers high- and low-level network design, enterprise security architecture, threat/risk management, and compliance with industry frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Network & Security Architecture

  • Design and implement IP network architecture (high- and low-level) for telecom environments.
  • Develop enterprise security architecture across network, application, and cloud.
  • Integrate firewalls, IDS, NAC, and other security controls.

Risk, Compliance & Standards

  • Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments (legacy and new systems), and maturity assessments (VPDSS, ISM, Essential 8).
  • Identify and remediate vulnerabilities and architectural gaps.
  • Develop and maintain cybersecurity standards, frameworks, and a Security Architecture Catalogue.
  • Align strategies with NIST Cybersecurity Framework.

Collaboration & Documentation

  • Document network configurations, procedures, and policies per industry standards.
  • Work with network designers, solution architects, and stakeholders to meet business and security needs.

Skills & Tools

  • Domains: Telecom, Cloud Architecture, Security Architecture
  • Technologies: IP Networks, Firewalls, IDS, NAC
  • Frameworks: VPDSS, ISM, Essential 8, NIST
  • Specialties: Threat Modeling, Vulnerability Remediation, Policy & Standards Development
