Job Opportunity

The Merchandise Assistant plays a pivotal role in driving the success of our business. This dynamic individual will be responsible for managing merchandise buying, ensuring data accuracy and integrity, and collaborating closely with suppliers.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Creation and management of purchase orders to meet strategic objectives
  • Manage data integrity and ensure accurate alignment with product categories
  • Liaise closely with external partners
  • Assist in maintaining merchandise buying range boards and ensure information is up-to-date and reflects range planner using Adobe Illustrator
  • Run and issue weekly reports for the team
  • Manage and prepare RRP review, VM handover, Style File documents
  • Support the Buying & Production Manager with general duties as requested

Requirements:

  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Ideal experience working within the retail/fashion industry in a similar role
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience across Microsoft Office and Adobe suite (Illustrator)
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Ability to liaise and collaborate with key stakeholders internally and externally
