Fashion Production Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Merchandiser to join our dynamic team.
The role involves assisting senior merchandisers in all aspects of garment production from conception to completion.
- Coordinate daily tasks and workload to direct reports to ensure timely deliveries.
- Identify suitable suppliers for orders as they arise.
- Develop strong working relationships with suppliers through regular communication.
- Create and send purchase orders to suppliers.
- Conduct quality control and negotiate prices.
- Manage production schedules and product samples.
- Receive and distribute parcels.
- Dispatch parcels to suppliers.
- Perform data entry and administrative duties.
Requirements:
- Completion of a tertiary qualification in Product Development or Fashion Design is desirable.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite is essential.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Experience liaising with offshore and local vendors is necessary.
- Ability to multitask and contribute to a dynamic team environment is essential.
