About This Role:

We are currently seeking a highly dynamic fashion Production Manager to join this leading Australian fashion and lifestyle brand.

This role will require you to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including managing suppliers to achieve quality standards, meet pricing targets and production timelines.

  • Develop and manage production schedules with overseas suppliers and in-house team to facilitate timelines for design, development, sampling, sales, pre-production approvals and bulk shipments
  • Attend design meetings & liaise with Product Managers to ensure customer briefs are reflected accurately in the tech packs, specs and in AP21
  • Manage communication with factories and negotiate costings
  • Provide weekly reports on production progress to the Head of Production and the extended team
  • Monitor and follow up orders in progress, and ensure suppliers comply with business standards across social compliance, ethical sourcing, sustainability, and material compliance
Responsibilities:Key Accountabilities:

- Manage, coach and mentor the Production Assistant to ensure timely completion of all tasks
- Develop and manage critical paths to ensure effective project delivery

Requirements:

- 5+ years' experience in a similar role and industry
- Knowledge of offshore and local garment manufacturing processes and procedures
- Strong attention to detail
- Extremely organized
- Moderate excel skills
- Experience using Apparel 21 (desired)
- A passion for/experience with sports/lifestyle brands (desired)
